Manage Your Tasks per Reservation

The "Tasks" feature helps manage reservations with special items that need to be brought to your attention. These tasks can be created automatically or manually.

When an incomplete task is attached to a reservation, you will see a colored square with a number inside superimposed onto the guest's block on the calendar.

The color determines its due date status. Gray means the task is not yet due. Green means that the task is due today. Red means the task is past due! The number inside the box indicates the number of tasks for that reservation. When all completed tasks are completed, the box disappears.

To view the tasks attached to a bill, simply open the bill/reservation and click the Tasks tab below the guest's name.

To view tasks for all bills in any given date range, click the Tasks link in the black bar at the very top.

To manually add a task to a bill, follow these steps:

1) Open the bill or reservation.

2) Click the View Tasks tab below the guest's name on the left.

3) Click the New button in the top right.

4) Fill out the form with TITLE, optional DESCRIPTION, DUE DATE, and ASSIGNED TO, if applicable.

5) Click Save at the bottom.

When the task item has been completed, check the box to the left of the item:

Completed tasks do not have an indicator on the calendar.
