Clients using Authorize.net may begin receiving TEST MODE transaction emails after integrating with ThinkReservations. Authorize.net sends the email, and the subject line is "Merchant Email Receipt." Authorize.net runs this $1.00 test transaction to verify that the credit card is valid.
By default, all transactions through Authorize.net will trigger an email to you. You can disable these transaction emails by following the steps outlined in this document: Disabling Authorize.net Transaction Emails.
From Authorize.net: "A $1.00 test transaction is submitted using the Luhn MOD 10 algorithm to verify that the credit card number is in a valid format. This test transaction does not appear on the customer's credit card statement, but it will generate and send a transaction receipt email to the merchant."
